Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, the three main baddies of internet censorship., have all decided to make “Fact Checkers” these “Fact Checkers” on the surface look legit, they look like they are meant to help people see the truth. But they’re not, they are political anti-meme ploys to control the public.
People obviously oppose this, and for good reason, on Instagram they take no shame in fact checking memes. they take no shame on giving you the “fake” rating from Africa Check. or fact checking digital art of rainbow mountains. It became so bad that Africa Check, became in itself an Instagram meme. And so did Instagram itself.
Now Twitter wants to add the same policy, and let’s be honest anything considered “Not True” or “Fake” would be on the conservative end, and would be hurting memes, and political post from that corner.
Twitter has always been hurting conservatives, memers, and artists. they shadowban memers and parody accounts. they ban conservatives. and they shadowban artists.
Twitter is a monster we created, and its grown so big that we ourselves can’t stop it… unless we stop feeding it, we are the architects of our own censorship.
